heavy/sauger jigs
Im in the market for 1 of 2 things depending on what makes more sense. Im looking for sauger jigs in the 1oz-1 1/4oz size with a wire hook so it will open when snagged. But im not really interested in the standard football style heads as they arent very streamline. Also on my wishlist is an additional eye in the back/bottom of the jig to attach a stinger. Either flat sides or a wedge style head is what im looking for.
Now i would gladly buy them in bulk 20-30+at a time if they are just bare heads. I can paint them myself and add any fur or feathers myself to save on the bulk cost.....OR if anybody can steer me towards a mold where i look into making my own. Ive looked at some lure maker catalogs but can seem to find everything im looking for. They either have the stinger eye option but arent heavy enough or are heavy enough but no stinger eye and so on. Ive looked into having a custom mold made and that price is WAY out of the ballpark. Lol.
maybe what im looking for cant be found and if so i will keep doing what im doing and be just fine but it would be pretty nice if i could find what im looking for.
