Default Trout magnet chartreuse jigheads

Have any of you all had any problems with the chartreuse jigheads breaking when popping the hook out? I had it happen 2 fish in a row Monday... I don't know it it was a bad batch or what? I just used my finger to push on the lead part to pop it out and it broke right below the lead head? Anyone have this same problem?

I haven't had any problems with them. If it continues to happen I suggest you send an email to Trout Magnet explaining what is going on. They have always made good on their product. I prefer the chartreuse.....red.....black TM heads as they have no coatings on the hooks as do the gold and nickel and are therefore much sharper.....of course black is my favorite TM head color.

Regards

Like Randy I have not had any breakage on chartreuse head jig heads from T M.
Now I will admit that since I remove the barbs, removing the hook is very easy and most time it comes out when fish gets in net.
If it continues, call or e-mail T M and I feel sure they would want to know and replace.

Red face

I get breakage using the nickel every now and then, the tensile strength
is a little brittle.
