Gsp 11-14-14
My "post" didn't get posted last night. I musta forgot to hit "submit".
Hit GSP about 9:00 yesterday morning. One yakker at the barrier and one headed that way. Early yakker said he had one striper of 41 inches early. Activity had stopped about 7:30. After that he was catching skippies on a blade bait.
I pull up and tie off, catch a skippie, put it on a down line to die by drowning, cause he sure was in no danger of getting et by a striper.
Started fishing for tilapias, throwing to where jad2t had told me they had caught theirs, nada. Threw in the other direction where Flipper had told me they caught a hundred or more recently. NADA.
Tally for the day five tilapia, 8 crappie (three keepers), two catfish, lotsa skipjacks, 437,329 bluegills, and forty bazillion little yellow bellies.
