I second this! Are you sitting still over the fish?

Give them what they want!
Drop a spoon that should get a couple also ya need one gen not three for a good bite there as current dictates the bite.
Of course I get skunked many days there too but love it.

If they were striper it could be a simple answer. Those can be some of the hardest most picky fish to catch once they key in on a certain size of bait. Quite the opposite thought of them just being roaming eating machines all the time.

Merv, that Hummingbird is fantastic. It even shows the weight of the fish. Looks like the heavy ones are almost on the bottom.

Yes, live lining large shiners.
Not sitting still, look at the bottom of the screen, third set of numbers, .04 MPH, slow drifting.
And I agree...it's OLD HICK!
Diagonal line is fish quickly moving away from the area.
Jigged a spoon for about 45 minutes....through all of those fish....and over and into limbs and brushpiles. Pulled up three nice sized limbs.
Caught one small blue catfish.
SAMBOLIE, YOU'RE RIGHT ON, AS USUAL. Most fellas haven't figgered that out yet but you'n'me, we know these things. Could teach these youngins a thing or two 'bout fishin'. The big old fat fish are dang near always on the bottom of the screen cause they caint swim up no higher.

I totally Agree. That's what I've experienced for the last few weeks. If I had 10 of the right size baits, I'd catch 10 stripers!
