Default Advice plz

I'm wanting to try a popping cork for white bass or what ever will hit them. How long of a liner? I'm guessing 2.5' to 3' is best. What would you use as bait or lure?
Thanks
Terry B

I normally use a Zoom super fluke on about a 18-24 inch line behind the cork.

I would do 12-18" off it or maybe up to 24" leader. It would be a pain to cast beyond that from a kayak.

Small flukes, gulp minnows or even standard - mag flukes weightless if striper/hybrids are around. Some people for whites use small marabou flies or streamer flies.
