Default TM first test

Buddy and I went fishing today.
We were on the water for about 3 1/2 hours.
Wind was pretty rough, average 10mph and gusts up to 20.
Cold front hit this week.
Pretty much terrible fishing conditions.

I fished the trout magnet.
Rootbeer with a black head.
Mealworm with a gold head.

I caught, one 10" bass, two 14" crappie, three 6" crappie and one 8" bream.

My buddy was using night crawlers and live minnows.
He caught, one 1 1/2 pound bass.

I would call my first test run of the TM a success.
I am really gonna like these things.

Sounds good. Tough fishing 2# test line and a 1/64 ounce jig head in that kind of wind.

Yeah I kinda cheated.
On one line I went ahead and put a pretty good sized weight on it.

On the other one I left it weightless, besides the tm.
I wanted to fish it about 8 feet deep so I set the float at about 12 and just drifted.

Both set ups performed and produced.

Casting was pretty much limited to, pitch it out there and keep an eye on it.

I fished out at Williamsport yesterday afternoon in a strong cross wind and did pretty good. Caught quite a few 7-8 inch Gills and about 50 short crappie. Those lakes are over run with stunted crappie.....not a single fish was 10 inches.....but all were probably 9 inches. They just don't get bigger in there. I don't think I really felt a hit.....I would go to twitch and there would just be a fish on the line from where the wind was dragging the TM sideways.

Regards
