After about 4 hrs heading home due to a busy day today.

Ended up below the dam and paddled up to the lock wall area.

The cool air (39) didn't turn off the bite. Caught probably 18-20 yellow bass some small some a little bigger. Caught 6 skippies and big fish of the night was a 12" spotted bass.

All were caught on 2lb test and either a killer klatt crappie magnet with 1/8 oz head or a chartruse trout magnet with black head plus BB shot a foot up. Twitching was the retrieve slow reel erratic hops.

I could have caught fish all night. Fun times and didn't really get cold.

It was fun and wish I could have stayed a bit longer. Fish were chasin bait all night. Once the fog crept in I thought maybe the bite would die but it didnt.

Succesful trip both catch wise and gear wise. I was testing out a change to my seat and clothing layers for when it does get cold. Planning on fishing a lot more once winter sets in.
