Default Any OH tips for stripers?

My father in law is coming down from KY and tomorrow is his birthday so we are going to head to OH for some fishing. We're gonna start at Drakes Creek and get some crappie/catfish in. We'll be getting out at about 9:30-10:00am so I figure the topwater morning feed will be over and we may have to troll for them deeper on the main part of the lake.
Will they be in the 20 - 30 ft range or are we going to have to hit the navigation channel and bring the big deep divers out? I've never caught live bait with a net and this weekend isn't the time to learn so that option isn't available. Any help would be great. Don't need exact locations just want to know what to look for depth and terrain wise if anyone is willing to help. Thanks in advance.
