Default Williamsport

Went out to Williamsport this afternoon. I only caught a couple of Gills and two bass. Just making report for any kayakers that may be going out there this weekend. The water in Goldeneye is very low......water quality is good...stained but about a foot of visibility. You will have to get in the mud some if you launch.

Regards

Thanks Randy. I fished out there last weekend and skipped Golden Eye. I fished with a co-worker and he caught his biggest bass to date out there Sunday. Didn't catch numbers, but some good quality fish 3 over 18", and big fish was 22".

The hot fishing at Goldeneye seems to have run it's course. Even when it was still easy to launch the fishing wasn't as good for me and I heard the same from others. Let's let that lake get some rest and come Spring the frog fishing in there will be on fire again!
