Nice rockie!!
But check that scale out on a known weight. I bought one like it this week, tested it on a 15 lb dumbell and it tested 15% light. That fish might be closer to 33-34 lbs.
I took the scale back and went to Walmart and got the digital luggage scale that goes up to 88 lbs. The scale only cost $11.00. It tested the 15 lb dumbell at 15.1 lbs, a lot closer. And the digital locks the weight in so when you set the weight down, the reading is still there. Great for showing pictures of the weight.

Very nice. I recommend Boga scales. Very expensive but deadly accurate and will last forever. You will want the ones that go to 60 lbs if you catch many that size.
Live bait or artificial?

Awesome fish and great pics, looks like a pretty spot. I remember when last year I told myself I was going to spend a lot of the Summer on the Cumberland chasing rockfish out of my yak... here we are almost done with Summer and all I've done is bass fish

JK:
That is one of those fishing trips that you remember for the rest of your life! Thanks for posting the photo and the information. I definitely need to retire so I can fish more!
