Default Your opinion on jpp hybrid

So my buddies coming down next week from South Dakota wanted to have him hook his first hybrid. But first We will be headed to the preseason Titans Vikings game. Would you guys use live bait or artificial would you down by the dam cooks or seven points area?

If live bait is available, go that route. Cooks, Seven Points, Hamilton creek could all be good places. But I do a lot of artificial lure fishing as well. I would rather be fishing during prime times rather than catching bait. On a good morning, you may have your limit before you could have caught your bait. On the other hand, stubborn or reluctant fish will more easily be persuaded by live bait.

Striperfun is right about prime fishing time. I usually go out an hour before daylight with hopes of being on the fish as early as possible. Catching bait at night is actually very pleasant.

What areas do you find best catch live bait. I have my castnet.
