Default If You Only Catch One...

Make it count. I was at Percy Priest yesterday and the bass were simply not interested in what I was offering (plastic worms, cranks, spinnerbait). It was close to sunset so I found myself scratching my head at the lack of action. Am I that bad (maybe).

I remembered a cove where very small white bass have been active. I started working a crank bait and BAM! Got nailed by this guy. A really fun fight. Couldn't replicate it, though - no bites after that all the way to sunset.

Congrats on the one. I was on Chickamauga yesterday, and it was slow there as well, 6 hrs of fishing, 1/3 tank of gas and only 2 keeper crappie. total of 8 caught, everyone was saying the same thing,

Good one man. I hadn't heard from you in a while so I wasn't sure if you had been getting on the water.

Not sure what it weighed (I need to buy one of those things...). But yeah, I've been getting out there pretty frequently. Almost always on Percy Priest.

Was in Quebec for a week last month. That was smallie heaven.
