Default Silver buddy blade baits

Stopped at Murfreesboro Outdoors today. They had a good stock of the original Silver Buddy. $4.99 each.

Hope they stock them through the winter. Silver buddies are sometimes hard to find.

Jigging blades in general are my go-to jigging bait year round, whether its in the river or in the lakes and everything will hit them.
Ive not owned a silver buddy in a long long time. might need to add them back to the 'blade box though.
This cool morning is getting me pumped for winter jigging already!

I have used them for years as well. They are good baits but my understanding was they went under but it looks like it's back open by the link.

One Stop has some similar through Punisher although I never tried them:

You can also check Friedman's Army Surplus on 21st ave Nashville. They have a lot of lures that are not longer available or closeout stock.

There is even a lure that I pick up which discontinued back in early 1990's but a local guy buys/then stocks private runs from the lure manufacture in a hand full of colors and sells them to Friedmans.

Check out the Steel Shad Blade Bait. They are available at all the bait stores around Kentucky Dam, and they will mail order. I can get you some names of the stores, if needed.

Starkeys used to have a bunch of em too...

I would normally buy a bunch at the Nashville fishing show.

I dont know if you can still get them, but I have a mold that makes them in 2 different sizes, had it for years. I used to buy the blank blades at a sporting goods store in sparta, dont remember the name. I have made several over the years, very effective bait.
