Default Fishing around White House

Any you guys fish that area? A guy at work is looking for someplace to take his 8 year old. I have never fished around there. All I knew was Old hickory or Red River. I did mention Marrowbone to him.

Marrowbone is a long ways off from there but not a bad choice, I would send him to Rockland creek at the dam in Hendersonville of course Red River has fish if you could find an area deep and available.

Check out wading mansker creek. Park at mansker park by the soccer fields in goodlettsville then you can wade downstream easily to almost the cumberland if they wanted.

There's some pay lakes in and around Portland.. He should try those or the lake access areas on Lock 4 road in Gallatin.

The Secret Service might have some objection to you fishing around the White House. You probably aren't missing anything anyway, it's only stocked with carp and catfish.
