Merv is in a slump

I am going to take Merv to Tim's Ford on Saturday afternoon to get him out of his slump!

I hear they are still catching the smallies on Zoom centipedes and speed craws. If you are around for lunch, head over to Holiday Landing Marina and eat at the Bluegill Grill. Ask for the manager Joey and tell him Ryan Storey sent ya. Joey is a great guy.

There won't be any time for eating, just fishing, plus we will be putting in at the State Park and heading to dam. Should have GoPro with me so I can prove Merv has ended his slump. We will also be testing the Otter Boat planer boards with the Great Lakes setup. Will have Rivieras in the truck if we need them just in case the Otter Boats don't work for us. We will be pulling Tennessee Thumpers on the down riggers and Sassy Shads and Captain Jim's hair jigs on the outside rods. This combo proved deadly the last time out.

I hope Merv doesn't jinx us!

Woody, aero doesn't allow ramp lizards on his boat, only ramp tramps like me. And he just uses me for slave labor to set out the lines, reel in the fish, reset the lines, all the while, regaling me with stories of his prowess as a captain.
He likes to have me on board to add some "coolness" to his boat!
