Default Anyone fishing Duck River?

I'm thinking about putting flat bottom boat in at the Iron Bridge ramp. I want to float downstream for a few miles and do some bass fishing, then motor back up. Anyone have any advice for this area of the river?

You will be fine, just don't get to close the old dam off of Riverside Dr.

Default I know this is old

I was thinking about putting in at the same spot and floating it all day. What would I have to do once I made it to that dam? My boat is too heavy to portage around it.

I am not all that familiar with the Duck but you would be better off motoring up the river and floating down to the ramp.
