Afternoon kayaking
I actually got to fish for a couple hours today. I did not make it out on the 4th due to the trip to the range taking so long so I decided to get out after work today. I only caught 2 but had about 6 more blow ups on the frog. I had one fish knock the frog out of the water about 5 times on three straight cast, never caught him. I also had a good size fish, 4-5lbs roll on the frog about 5 foot front he kayak he missed it and would never hit it again. I headed for home around dark. I took some pictures of the grass mats today, I still don't know what kind of grass it is. I am leaving for Guntersville friday so I hope to have some big fish to show you guys this weekend.

You know I did not here any of the tale tale popping sounds. Usually early fall when the grass starts dying you can hear them pop the mats eating bugs. I can tell you where it is, you are more that welcome to give it a try.

You should see some of the other areas, they put that stretch to shame.

Looks like a nice section of river. That must have been way up in the Stones. Nice fish, everyone's catching them on frogs lately and I'm just missing hooksets on them haha

Awesome, I need to get out badly. It's just been work, work, work for the past 2-3 weeks.

That is how my schedule has been due to the part time job. I have to hit the water when I can. I call it the Stones jimmy but like I said it's a stretch of the river in southern Murfreesboro.
