Default Jpp 6-19-14

It was HOT......

Got out late, 7:30, fished west of hole in wall island for stripes. Fish were spotting the top but they wouldn't bite. Jigged up 2 LM and 4 yellows. Then ran to 7 points and caught a few more on a CC spoon and white rooster tail. We were fried by 10:30.

at least ya got into a few of them. would have added insult to injury getting fried and not catching anything!

That looked like a real big yellow bass there. How long would you say it was?

To me, those are one of the better eating fish in the lake.

I'd love to get in a school of them that size.

Sorry guys, I should have explained better, the pic was a 19 inch hybrid, we caught a little bit of everything except a catfish.

We released them all.

I kept looking and wondering....LOL. That would have been world record yellow belly....LOL.

The fish in the photo had a definite yellowish tint to it, made me think it was a yellow belly.
