Default 6/15/14 - Cumberland River / Mill Creek.

I put in at Shelby Park yesterday and paddled up and into Mill Creek and further up Mill Creek than i had ever been before. I portaged over a couple rapids into some smaller water. i caught a couple small redeyes and spots on shakyheads. i started throwing a topwater frog and was getting good blowups but when i finally connected with one i slung him out of the water. 8" spot. haha. i then went back down to the river and drifted down a riprap bank and caught a big drum.
Then a huge yacht came through and kicked up some 4' waves and scared me. immediately after that a huge tugboat with 3 barges comes by. they muddied up the banks really good so i went back to the ramp. there were about 15 dudes on stand up jetskis putting in and then the general jackson came by and they were jumping its wake.
I talked to a guy in a bass boat who caught a bunch of smallies on topwater further up river. i was on the water at 7 and off by 11:30.

No pics, but i did get some gopro footage that i need to edit.

Cool video man. Stupid Drum, you think you have a nice sized bass for a minute there.
