Default Old Hickory 06-13-14 under the lights

We didn't' catch a lot of fish. The ones we caught were fun though.

Nice fish, I was scared off from fishing tonight by the full moon and nasty looking water. I think I am going to try next weekend with my grandfather.

Nice whites! I was wondering if Old Hickory was clear enough to fish with lights. Did you drop a light down? If so, did you get lots of shad in?

From experience, fishing under lights during a full moon is the worst!

Yes sir, that's why I am sitting on my couch right now instead of on my boat on the lake. Bass and catfish at night with a full moon are fine, anything where I have to use an artificial light source is a no go.

No shad to speak of yet. Later in June and in July there will be lots of shad. All the fish were caught on medium sized shiners. I had both a white light and a green light dropped down about 2 ft under the boat.
