Default Old hickory bass report Friday afternoon

So I fished the grass pretty hard today, caught 10 in the grass on frogs and rage shad. I caught them in the thick of the grass not around the edges. Had one fish on gizzard shad square bill. Also fished deep crankbaits I caught two. Fished Cedarcreek and cages bend area water temperature around 83–84. I use a live target brand frog and the hooks are unbelievably sharp. The body is really soft too which helps Hook sets. I did have about 4-5 other blowups but probably smaller fish I did not hook.

Awesome...nothing like a bass coming up and blowing up on a frog.

All right ole buddy(Dakota), I hit it hard for 3 hours this morning(Sat), Rage Shad, toad and Spro frog, not one blow up. Caught several, little ones on shaky head, broke off a nice on(didn't retie). They were picking it up and dropping it. Had to really catch that first tap. Talked to a couple of Kayaker's(that purcahsed them at Hook 1), told them about Fishingtn and they were very interested in the tournaments you guys have. The first play boater didn't come out in Spencer creek until about 11:15, they were drinking as they launched the boat. Beautiful morning to be on the water. Be careful out there. Hey man I didn't know that is why you always wear that hat
