Default a couple from the weekend

I had the distinct pleasure of guiding Baxterboy and his mom this past Saturday. The goal was a TARP bluegill for Baxterboy. I was sweating it for a couple hours as the weather was dismal (cool, raining) and the pond that has been my best for average size this year didn't produce anything above 9.75". When we had been at pond #2 for about ten minutes Baxterboy caught this one:

Then about ten minutes later his mom caught this one:

Thanks, creekcrappie. I guided two guys from Pennsylvania on Sunday - here's one of the best from that day:

GEEZE! they are almost as tall as they are long!
I bet when those monsters start fighting in circles it pulls a little drag!

TNBronzeback, they do indeed pull drag. One of the guys from Pennsylvania hooked something big that ripped off a lot of drag before breaking his line, but we didn't see it so it could have been a bass. Although, bluegill in the 1.5 lb. class and up can certainly make some runs on six-pound-test.
