Default Normandy dam

Went below Normandy dam this morning just to get out of the house. Caught 5 hand sized female bluegill, 2 trout, and a crappie. All caught on bison colored trout magnet under a float.Fished maybe 2 hours.Might get the boat out next weekend and try for some catfish somewhere.

Glad you got into some fish. Normandy should be putting out about 100 CFS this time of year. At 45 CFS it has to be hampering the fishing. Did the trout put up much of a fight? The water temps have to be warmer than with a flow of 100 CFS this time of year.

They fought pretty good. There was more water flowing then there had been in the past and it was cold enough that I wouldn't have wanted to fall in, lol.

Default Normandy

We floated from the dam to Dement Bridge (Highway 269) on Saturday.

Caught trout all the way down, and the fights were fun!

Will post a full report.
