Default Beautiful Morning for Fishing!

Headed down to the Williamsport lakes yesterday (5/3/14). Didn't feel like hauling my boat all the way down there so I sacrificed $8 and rented one they have there. Was on Blue Cat by 5:45 and what an amazing day it was to be on the water.

The fishing was fair to decent. I was searching out gills and shellcrackers and had a little bit of success. I ended up catching 1 nice shellcracker and 12 bluegills ranging from 4-8". I kept 3 for a one person meal which I will be enjoying for dinner soon. Also, I caught the typical 50+ 8-9" crappies and 1 largemouth.

Overall it was a good day, but once the wind picked up, boat control became quite difficult. I probably would have done a little better if I would have remembered an anchor!
