Default KBFTN Tournament Writeup

Attached is the complete write up of the KBFTN Tournament from this weekend with scores from each day and to see how it progressed. I tried to put it in the body but the format of the spreadsheet will not come out right.

Looks like everyone was afraid to open an attachment, so here you go, the complete writeup

We had 33 anglers come out for the Kayak Bass Fishing TN Season Opener making it our largest non-charity event to date. We saw a lot of new faces which was great.
We had people come from two hours or more away.

The entire tournament went smoothly with the assistance of Sarah, and Craig. We hit the time deadlines we projected thanks to everyone being on time and ready.

It was a good thing to do preregistration on Friday as that got a lot of the work out of the way. We had another 15-20 register Saturday, and one more on Sunday.

Friday was pretty relaxed and it seemed like everyone went to bed early. Saturday the fishing was tough with only 70 fish being turned in. Sunday there were 32 fish
turned in, the fishing seemed to be better, but the size of fish was just not there. Sunday was upgrade day as this was a 5 fish tournament using your best
5 out of 10 fish for Saturday and Sunday combined.

Big fish of the weekend was a 21.25” largemouth caught by goreds.king. I was at tournament Central around noon when he came paddling in and said hey I gotta go
to a game for my daughter can I turn in my card now, and I said “sure”. We looked at his photo real quick and my jaw dropped to the ground over that pig. I knew for
sure this was going to be the fish of the weekend.

Saturday everyone launched at 0615 and had to have their score cards turned in by 5pm Saturday.

Everyone was on time, and below are the results from day 1

Craig Dye 15.50 16.75 15.75 14.25 13.75 76.00

Went to your website and seen it was at Bledsoe Creek. Good areas all around there. Looks like it was a lot of fun.

It was a blast. One thing about the kayak fishing is it's like we are a big family. We network closely together so when we travel to other states to fish tournaments we are always welcome. We welcome any new comer and will even help them get on fish if they are having trouble. Just ask, and assistance will come. We've never had any arguments, or fights, and everyone is always courteous. This is a great group we have here in middle Tennessee, actually all over Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama. I consider most close friends.

Thanks for the compliments on the photos, I have a good camera, or I meant to say my wife has a good camera, but I don't get it out near enough.
