Default BnM Pro Staff Trolling vs Pinnacle Vertex IM7

Looking at buying new rods for spider rigging and long line trolling / trolling crankbaits. I'm wanting something with more backbone than my pinnacle limits. They're good but very limber and bow something fierce when I'm trolling cranks. I bought these because I was new to all of this and unsure if I'd like these methods. Well, I really do like both of these styles, so I figured it was time to upgrade but want to find something good so I don't have to buy something else. Anyone have experience with these rods?

For cranks look at walleye/steelhead rods for trolling cranks. Diawa Wilderness, Shimano TDR, Cabelas Depthmaster etc. Northwood Outlet has good prices on Okuma linecounters (if you have not already done so, read the crankbait trolling thread on crappie.com, on the Mississippi board).

Spider Rigging, I have no clue.

EDIT:
I would be glad to take you out on Chickamauga or Watts Bar and you can see my setup.
