Default Dale Hollow living up to its T.A.R.P. lake reputation

I felt great to get back on the water after my off season.(mid March thru mid April.) I fished Monday with a family from North Dakota. Great people. I decided to get up early before my charter and fish for some crappie for the table before I met them at the dock and Dale decided to give up a true slab. Then I met them at the dock at 630 and we had two more T.A.R.P. fish in the boat by 10 am. that's three different species in less than 6 hrs of fishing.

I know Dave is a big guy so that crappie must be huge just looking at the proportions to the picture!!! Nice one!!!

Dave are the smallies on the spawning flats up there yet?

Guys, it was almost 16. And yes they are. Although they seem to be staging on steeper banks this year.

SAMBOLIE, if it doesn't it should. I had a few others, the smallest being 12 inches.

My wife got 3 TARP in one day Bluegill, shellcracker, and smallmouth.

Wish I was a little closer.

There's no better lake it Tn for multiple T.A.R.P.s. my personal best was a Muskie, walleye and a smallie and the next day we had a 29 inch rainbow.
