Default Jpp 4/11

I got out there about 2 and left around 6. Me and my brother got 28 keepers and a few little crappie. The main lures were white/chart. and purple/chart. crappie magnets and tube jigs. I caught about 1/2 of the fish on live minnows under a float 3 feet up the line. I went through 4 dozen minnows using just one minnow rod. Fishing should stay great for a few weeks. In the meantime I will be out there wearing them out.

A friend and I fished Fate Sanders today with nary a bite all day. The wind was blowing our kayaks around so bad, we couldn't stay in one place long enough to catch any.

I fished Fate Sanders also in a friend's spider rig boat Friday. We fought the wind from 9am to 3pm, but still caught fish, keeping 23 nice ones. Mostly in 10ft water on dark color jigs.

I was there from 9-3 on Friday in a red kayak with an orange flag on it.

As a side note, I have to say that Fate Sanders cove is the nastiest, trashiest piece of shoreline I have ever fished! We got out of our kayaks on the north shore(rocky shoreline) and it was just solid trash! Cans, broken bottles, foam minnow buckets, worm containers, sections of docks. That needs to be cleaned up somehow!

I saw you westwind...red with a flag...good safety! Saw agelessone there too. FS is a popular spot for this forum's members I'd say.

Yep, it's pretty darn trashy too.
