Default priest crappie

got to fish a few days last week. I cleaned just over 150 crappie. Took a friend and his son a couple days and my dad a couple. The fishing never was great. Had to work for them, but still caught them. Still a great population, only had 3 or 4 that were not 10" out of all we caught. Many were 11" and better. Caught them anywhere from inches of water out to 5 or 6 feet. Tried a few different baits just for the sake of it and colors, still came back to 2-1/2" white twister tail. Minnows couldn't keep up with the white twister tail.

Weirdest thing is about half of the crappie we cleaned (we let many nice ones go that I felt were big females) were females. Usually catch males for the most part when I start catching them.

Found some bass for my friend and his son on Tuesday. We wore them out for a couple hours on a rat-l-trap. biggest was 3-1/2 lbs. When I get time I will be chasing hybrids for a day or 2 now, I only fish topwater for them.
