Default Kentucky Lake

Had a friend down from Chicago Heights, IL fished Ky. Lake today. They (3 guys) caught 80 keepers today.

How in the heck can it be so different from 2 hours away??

I fished JPP hard today and only had 11 keepers, none on minnows which is what my friend caught them on.

I fished at least six different brushpiles, and trolled over a dozen more. Could never get a "bite" going.

Where did they fish on KY? I'm headed over there Sunday, had some good reports out of Big Sandy but it gets stacked up with boats when the bite is on.

Quietly (not anymore ) I have heard that Ky lake is producing as large of fish as Guntersville and has really been the favorite place for tourney fellows.

Kentucky lake is one of the best crappie lakes around. A big destination lake. I am still waiting for the upper end of the lake to turn on....hope it is soon.
