Default Couchville lake

Took my kayak and when with 2 friends to the lake. We caught 27 keeper crappie. I enjoy fishing from my kayak. Mite have to upgrade it soon. Sorry no pictures.
Oh I got to the park before my friends. put in jpp for about 15 minutes and caught a 14" large mouth bass. Than I found out I was on the wrong lake. They was at the other.

Thanks for the report! I usually don't like fishing couchville. The fish are much harder to locate than on JPP.

Default old road bed

There a old road bed across from the pier. They was in about 6 to 8 feet.
We caught some on the same side of the lake as the pier about half way between the pier and bridge. Most was just over 10" and a few over 12". Only had to release a few under size.
1 1/2 twisty tail blue and siver with chartreuse tail. 1/8 jig head. slow retrieve.

I saw you guys out there when you were on the pier side. I took my Pescador out for its maiden voyage. I drifted down the far side of the lake for a couple hours while my wife did her marathon training stuff on the trail.

I was in the sit-in vapor. Did you see us go back across the lake to the road bed? At that time we had about 15 than pick up about 13 more before pick up for the day.
