Default Caney Fork

Met my son up at Center Hill this morning to try for some spots...Smallies....crappie. Didn't catch a single fish in the lake. I side scanned a lot of docks today but did not see a fish. Saw a lot of bait balls under docks and out in 40-50 feet of water but no fish around them. The highest water temp we could find was 51.4 degrees. Ran into two guys in a bass boat and they had 3 fish between them since sunrise. We decided to pull out and go fish the Pond on the Caney. We caught a lot of 13-14 inch rainbows. Only caught a few Gills and they were small. Bigger fish were coming out of the current but I didn't want to get over in that and be gone down river. We ran into porman2006 up there today. It was nice to meet him. He caught a really nice brown. He can take the Pro Angler places I can't go in the current...LOL. It turned out being a great day with my son. Going to try somewhere else tomorrow.

Regards

Fish or no fish. Fishing with your son is always good.

Default Pond

Sounds fun. I dream of going every single day. Counting down before the next fish-a-palooza.
