Default Fish ID

So what do we have here? White or Hybrid? I did not check tooth patch/s. I'm leaning towards hybrid but have been wrong before.

Oh yea, caught on JPP yesterday afternoon. Agelessone, if you see this then it was very near where you guys were fishing about 4:30ish. I saw the boat and you and thought you looked familiar from somewhere then realized it was from here. I also managed about 15 crappie at another location but they were all smalls except for one keeper.

i would say that is a white. most of the hybrids that ive caught, even the smaller ones, have more pronounced lines on them where as these lines are thinner and lighter. Looking at the fins, also makes me want to lean towards white. Is that the actual length of it? almost 17"? But like you mentioned, the most for sure way to tell would be the tooth patch.

Looks like a big white to me. I caught one similar to that size at the steam plant in December.
