Default Cumberland River (Clarksville Area) 3/22/14

Today was the first time in a long time that I was able to head out on the water. and although the fish weren't cooperating, it sure felt good to wet a line again.
Water temps were right around 50 everywhere we fished and the water was slightly stained but the worst thing was that cold, hard wind blowing us all over the place. We only caught a few dinks (LM & spots) but did manage to catch some white bass on Blue Fox silver inline spinners and Little Cleo silver & blue spoons.

I recently installed that Elite 7X HDI on the bow and ended up spending too much time this morning trying to figure out why it would only show sonar but no down scan. Finally, I saw that during setup, I had chosen the generic transducer vs the HDI one (DUH!!!) and once I made that little correction, life was good LOL.

We saw plenty of schools of fish (we were thinking white bass) but only managed to catch a few here and there. They were finicky yesterday.

Nice fish Nomad. I have had my kayak out twice since getting the Humminbird si unit. I haven't made the first cast from the kayak...LOL. I am so enthralled with the side imaging I just paddle around looking at the images.

Regards
