Default Fair day on JPP

Fished with my buddy William Brown today, expecting great weather and decent fishing.

We fished from 8-3 and caught about 75 crappies. 43 keepers which we distributed to our friends.

We gave Jimmy DiTraglia 10 out on the lake so he and his wife could have a couple of meals to go along with the bunch that he had already caught.

Then a friend of William's has a boat docked at the marina and has fish frys once in a while. We gave him 23 crappies.

The last 10 went to my neighbor Bill B.

So we had fun and friends get to enjoy the fruits of our pleasure. But now we have a cold and rainy front moving in which should kill the fishing for a few days.

Settling in beside the wife on the sofa to have a drink and a movie!

Sounds better than a fair day to me Merv! Congrats on the catch. I spent the day playing with the side imaging locating all kinds of deep water bluegill-shell cracker beds. When the water warms they all should be covered with Gills....that side imaging is worth every penny.

Regards

I'm glad you had a great day on the water but we all missed you at Walkers grand opening since you did donate a lot of crappie for the opening. We all thank you Merv my good friend;..............woody

When I fished with Merv I asked him why he caught more fish than me. He said that to be a master fisherman you have to first be a master baiter.
