Default Heck of a day pond fishing

Terribly windy but I hooked up with two nice ones, 7.5 and 7.4 pounds respectively

Uh... yeah......... Very nice fish sir! I had a friend of mine that caught a 10.5 out of a pond 2 years ago. It's amazing what those small waters will produce.

Nice fish! It's crazy that ponds vary so much. I have permission to fish a small private pond. It nothing to catch over 100 bass in a half day, but if you catch one over 15" it's bragging rights. Most are 10-12". Now on a ultra light, it's still a blast! But I wouldn't hate a few 7 lbers! Lol

That's the kind of pond that desperately need some bass kept out of it, we actually kept 8 under 2 pounds to eat

Yeah, that's what we have been told by others, we need to thin them out.
