Smile Elk below dam on 2/19

This weather has been so awesome in allowing me the opportunity to get on the water. Decided to see how the trout were on the Elk and it was a "very productive" day.Only caught a few that were really nice size. I started off using some new color jig heads which T M has released and had some luck with pink T M with chartreuse jig heads.Tried reverse and no hits. Finally went back to my old standard of white T M's on black barbless jig heads under float and did really well. All fish caught were Rainbows.
So blessed to be able to get out on the great streams we have.

I should have come over there yesterday. I went to Nickajack and water is just too cold. Glad you are getting out.
