We have two cats and a dog (bloodhound/shepherd mix best i can tell).
The male cat and the dog go back and forth between who is 'King' of the house. The female cat just panders to us by allowing us to pet her all the time.
We people just put the food and fill the water. That is all.

We currently have my wifes two cats but they mainly reside under our bed. I am think the beagle will keep them flushed out. LoL.

I had beagles growing up running rabbits and squirrels. Personally one of my favorite breeds.

There's nothing like the bond between human and dog. My wife and I have a golden retriever/yellow lab mix and she's a blast. Loves every person she meets and so much fun to play around with. Enjoy it!

I don't know how much crate training you've done but if you haven't DO NOT put their water in there. Holy cow talk about a mess!

We have a lavender mearle chihuahua, Belgian malinois, cat, hedgehog, rabbit and horse. When we got back from Colorado and the dogs were still at my parents the house felt so empty. Funny how close you become to an animal.

Yeah i know all about the water in the crate trick. A friend had a white westie and they left a big bowl of water in there so the dog decided to poop then swim. There wasnt a white spot on the literal stinkin dog when they got home.

Awesome Travis. The bond between a child and an animal is a great thing.

That's awesome, Travis. Puppies are such a blast (and challenge, at times). It'll be a joy for you to watch the pup and your kids grow up together.
