Default 5 minute long crappie bite

I caught 5 keepers in the first 5 minutes, as well as 6 non keepers. I was expecting them to bite a bit longer Well at least they bit while they were there. I can't wait to fish next week when I don't have to poke the ice out of my guides. I think next week is going to be great. I caught the fish on crappie magnets and Bobby Garland Baby shads tipped with a berkley gold sparkle nibble.

Good job Isaac. Those fish did not leave. Crappie are notorious for doing what you just described......bite for a little while then completely stop. At some time today they will bite again. They can do that several times during the day. If you wait them out you will get your limit. I have experienced the same as you did today and not caught another fish for 4 hours...then I can't catch them fast enough and get my limit. Hoping to get up there next week and fish with you. I will send you PM.

Regards
