I fished from 3:30 until dark this afternoon. It was a beautiful day to be out fishing the bank. I caught one 12 inch catfish and I had a nice crappie get off right as I was lifting him in. The lure I caught them on was yellow/chartreuse flash crappie magnet fished less than a foot off the bottom. The catfish hit my lure when I had a crappie nibble on, so it added some scent. I will see how they hit at 5:30 tomorrow.
