Default GSP 1/26/14...what skunk ?

TravisC got out EARLY Sunday morning to see if we could break his "no striper" curse at the GSP. I could go into a long, detailed explanation of what we tried and what happened, complaining about how cold it was and the problems with our gear due to the sub-freezing temps...but I think this video will do a much better job

These stinking bass kept getting in the way as well. Good thing I could shake them off quickly.

Jeremy, it would have been a nice weekend for Kayak Wars to have started.

Great video Chris!

I am beginning the think the barrier might be improving things at the steam plant. It is allowing the fish someplace to rest and they seem to really be into a consistent pattern.

Past years would have boats running up and down the channel.

Thumbs up Absolutly Awsome !!! <'TK><

Love the videos and especially the music !! .. I am an old Mississippi Blues guy which this music approaches with a modern twist ... Did I mention that I play a BB King "Lucille" A Les Paul tuned to D for slide and a Fender American Strat with Semour Duncans ... Driven through a Fender Super Six with Marshals ...... Ummm Sweet ...

Now the important stuff ... The videos and fish ... Great !!! ... But Beware ... What you are catching are schoolies ... There are some 50 to 60 plus pound rogues in the same water ... I will bet someone will luck up with one of these Girls before the season is up ...

The barrier will be a problem ... to much restriction to play the fish ... There will be heart aches ... Tackle to small ... And somebody is going to take a drink ... But somebody may luck out ... I hope so ... Welcome to the world of Tennessee Stripers !! ...... <'TK><

Chris has a knack for video editing and fully agree on the music. All that I have heard so far has been really good but I will let him tell you about it.

It also doesn't hurt in the video making process that he is the guru of all things striped.

Thanks, guys. I'm glad to hear people enjoyed the video. It's kind of hard to actually make one public since I do all the editing, captioning, etc., and I have to force myself to think its good enough or else I'd be editing it forever, lol.

TK, the music is from my litte brother's group, he's the guitarist. They are based out of Nashville. I like your guitar set-up, and I do know what I'm talking about...I play 5 different instruments myself and come from a very musical family (father and uncle were founders of the country band, Ricochet, and my grandfather played piano with Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison). There is a family joke that when someone turns 5, they need to be able to sing or pick up an instrument to stay in the family...I sing so bad that I had to learn 5 instruments to make up for it
