Cold day at Pickwick
We had ice forming in the eyes of our rods but we stuck it out and managed around 15 catfish and a white bass along with a couple of drums, big fish of the day was a 39 pound blue followed by a 14 pound blue

It's a good time of year to get a big ole blue. We used to chase them down stream of Cumberland City Steam plant during Jan-Feb.
Nice trip and good looking fish.

Nice fish! What size line do you use to go after big cats like that?

We just use 20 pound or lighter, makes for a better fight
