Default Steam plant Friday afternoon

Used threadfin to catch most everything today. Skipjack liked sabiki rig and double rigged crappie magnets. Nothing hit the skippies I was hoping for the big one. Some real small skippies and then some big ones. Biggest fish here. The largemouth was 4lb. Striper was fun not huge though. Wind was out of the west but I was protected once I was in behind all the trees

That's a good afternoon of fishing. Glad it paid off. It was chilly out there today.

Nice going in that weather! The closest I got to fishing yesterday was wiping down and cleaning up my boat.

I was miserable yesterday. I work outdoors predominantly in the Clarksville area and had on 2 pairs of thermal pants, 2 undershirts, thick socks, insulated boots, my uniform, my work coat, AND a heavily insulated coat and was STILL cold...but I would have been ok with the weather if I was fishing. Funny how that works

Thanks fellas. Chris yes it's called fishing adrenalin. Of course it was cold but surprisingly behind those trees out of the wind it was not half as bad. Plus those heat packets in my wader boots make a difference. Coming back the wind was at my face but I have a cold weather mask I wear on the boat. Happy fishing.
