Default First Trout

I caught my first trout today on a trout magnet. I was fishing shoal creek next to David Crockett state park. I used a pink one with a bb sinker. I fished using the float for about 20 minutes, but got no bites. Took it off and tried the twitch method and caught a rainbow on the first cast. It was about 14" long. If I had my phone with me I would have taken a pic, but I left it in the truck.

Yeah. With 2lb line the drag was peeling. It was a lot fun.

That's awesome. I'm still waiting on my first trout. Tried yesterday but all I got was 1 LM.
