Default Cumberland River Boat Ramps-Nashville Area

Looking on Google Earth, i see 2 boat ramps i wouldnt mind launching at but am wondering about any theft/break-ins at the ramps. Does anybody have any information regarding these 2 ramps, i would appreciate it? Thanks

The Ramp at Shelby Park (???) Where sevier lake is located.
Lock 2 Ramp at the end of Lock 2 Road.

Shelby Park ramp during the day I would say is ok. I work in Shelby park and don't see any worries. But i would not park overnight there.

Lock 2 Park - Been broken into twice there. Both times screwdriver punched just above passenger side door lock. Lost CD's mostly. Second time I think I was pretty close to catching the bastards.
In my opinion the best ramp is the new one at Stones River off Fernbrook Lane. Safest way to access the river is launch at Rockland in Hendersonvile and lock down.

Thanks for the info on Lock 2.
I will have to plan my launching a little more carefully then. TK got my outboard running like a champ but whoa buddy she loves to guzzle the gas! being an early 60's model i guess that shouldnt come as a surprise. I will probably launch at Rockland and if need be, trailer down to the stones and a last ditch effort if needed i will trailer down to Shelby. Hoping the dam will give me enough excitement to prevent driving all over middle tn! lol.
