Default Cfr 12/29

Hit the Caney from 9am-2pm today. Caught 7 brooks from campground side below Dam. Caught 20 bows, brooks from Buffalo Valley ramp. Caught a few on clear CM, but most on silver/blue Kastmaster spoon. Also caught 3 bass casting parallel with rock wall. There are a ton of seagulls swarming bait fish in the pond area right now, 2+ gens have shad coming thru. Also met Joel from Big Rock Mkt today below the Dam, nice guy!

Joel's a good guy! Looks like its time to head that direction. Thanks for the report! Any sign of big browns?

No browns seen today. I brought an extra rod and kept large cranks on it but no takers. I tried out the TM Southern Belle pattern crank and caught 3 bows and missed several. A man could have caught a ton of fish there today in a boat no doubt, next time I think I'll bring mine and stay in the slack water and fish that seam.
