Default Bull Run Recreation Area?

Has anyone ever fished or paddled and fished Bull Run in Ashland City? It looks cool from the map. Cant find much of any info on the web about it.

Ive never fished there, but a friend of mine said he has had some very good days in there in the spring for crappie with all the wood in the water.
might be a good place to try now too if its deep enough to let some baitfish in. it does look really good on the map too!
