Default The Caney fished like a few years a go

Went to the Caney on 11/19-20.Fishe for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours both days.
On monday I was able to catch 40 on T M ( gainer,Orange and Gold ) and the same on Tuesday. However I did try a solid gold T M and caught one of biggest Browns on it.On Tuesday half of those caught were either Brooks or Browns.I wished I had stayed where I was catching, but decided to go to Lancaster where I have not been in about three years and caught one Brook in one hour.I was fishing in an area near the steps at Buffalo Valley.
If the wind had not been blowing and my barbless jig heads, the numbers would have been greater.
I was so excited to be catching and having the hits I got plus the number of trout that were nice size. One Brown was right at 20" but no bigger round than my arm.His body felt like he had lost a lot of weight.Today I had a hit and I just knew it was a very big trout.Got it in and it measured just over 13" and it was a brook.
I hope the numbers were the fish coming back instead of the new T M color.
If some of you use T M's ,they are in stock at T M store on web.
Ed

Nice job Ed.

Last time i was up there trolling a white mag around the pond drew constant strikes and brooks but had yet to find any browns this fall.

Good stuff Ed. I waded this weekend for an hour and half a got 10 chunky bows. Used this style Rapala countdown on falling water. Hopefully things will stay steady.
