Default Fishing saturday???

So, I know I said I was done till spring but....... I am thinking about crappie fishing this Saturday. I was hoping it would be sunny and no wind with birds chirping but it looks like it's going to be cloudy and windy again. Anyone with any words of wisdom for the Crappie on priest right now. I will be fishing the lower end out of Fate sanders if I go.

Thought about it. I have never fished it before but I have heard stories about the lake. Can you put a bass boat in that lake? If not I know the Kayak tournament is going on and I could always participate in that.

Yep you can put a bass boat in Bluecat, and Shellcracker. I would like to see a side bet of a bass boat vs kayak.

I Like this! My boat is much more comfortable than the kayak I fish out of. I can't decide what do to. I would like to fish the tournament but then again I prefer fishing out of the bass boat for creature comforts. I assume you can keep the fish caught in the lake?

Yes but only if they're above 20 inches. Crappie and Hybrids follow the statewide regs I believe but you may want to check on that.

Jimmy, you are correct abot the 20" for largemouth and that is only 1 fish per angler. I'm not sure about the other species, but I believe it is like Jimmy said Statewide regs.
