Default JPP during the fall drawdown

hey guys, I am thankful for the nice trips i have had to JPP this year but since they have started the fall drawdown I can't catch anything, its like a switch. I have tried all the "theories",shallow, deep, slow, fast and everything in between. I mainly target bass/crappie and hybrids, any practical advice would be welcome and is this period typically slow? thanks in advance.

As far as bass, have you tried fishing the back of creeks? Look for the shad and the bass should be close by. Fish anything that closely resembles the shad, especially in size. Vary your retrieve to make your bait stick out apart from the schools of shad. At least this is how I've done it. I'm sure others with more experience will have better advice. As far as Crappie and Hybrids...I dunno.
